It is creaky. It’s 9x5m more or less, but it is a little shorter on one side. There is an rough plan below, do not rely on this plan, but come in and measure out the stage yourself. The wiki team takes no responsibility for sets that don’t fit due to the use of the plan below. It is hardboard laid over planks that gets replaced every Fringe. Currently it is ply.
Painted with lovely Flints Black. To paint, water down the paint with between 10th and a 5th water to make painting easier. Painting is a two person job that should get done every couple of weeks. Do Not use any other paint without talking to the set manager. If painting white, you must use Flints White, we never managed to get the white paint from blink out.
There is now a trapdoor in the stage cupboard. It is approximately 38x35cm wide which means while you can fit a person through it, it is pretty difficult to do so. It is also much higher up above the ‘ground’ so you might need to use the rope ladder.
(by Lois Zon)(yes sorry there’s a lot of lines but i can’t assume anything in bedlam is consistent)
The stage cupboard had an actual wall for a while, new one was put in Feb 91. Now we hang curtains there.
